Small businesses are the backbone of our local economy, embodying the spirit of innovation, resilience, and the dream of entrepreneurship.
That's why I've launched a petition to give them the support they desperately need.
We need to cut business rates for local businesses. This will lower their costs and help them to thrive. I also want to increase the number of people who visit our high streets with longer free parking times, and improved step-free access at all our railway stations so more people can enjoy our excellent high streets, and more regular service on the K5 bus route to bring more people to Morden.
